Geotagged attendance
Attendance bound to a location. Staff can only check in inside a 100 metre radius of campus.
An IoT project built on the GPS in an Android phone, for staff at Universitas Balikpapan. Attendance is recorded from location coordinates, which retires the paper sheet and closes the obvious hole in it.
To check in, a member of staff has to be within 100 metres of the campus. Outside that, the app tells them how far off they are.
What it does
Login
Wired into the university database, so there is no separate registration.
Attendance
Check-in only inside the campus radius. Outside it, the app shows the distance in metres.
Leave request
Submit a leave request with a date and a reason.
Permit request
Send a permit request to the admin.
Attendance history
Totals for present, late and absent.
